Along with my output shaft seal going bad again, my new center support bearing was also bad. Today when i took it to my driveline guy, we noticed that the slip yoke is worn pretty heavily. He said that theres a brass bushing inside the transfer case where the slip yoke goes into that is most likely bad, and that I should have the slip yoke and the bushing replaced. Can you guys shed any light on this bushing? Or at least what its called so i can look up a price?
That's the only thing I could find on output shaft bushing. Honestly, I've never had one torn down, so I couldn't tell you for sure if that's it. I hope it helped though.
