Electrical Question
Hey Guys,
Had a weird problem today and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same or similar. I took the truck to the car wash and this time washed under the hood to get rid of some dirt and bug build up which I occasionally have to do. I was driving down the road about 15-20 min later and went to turn up the stereo using the steering wheel controls. As soon as I touched the button the stereo popped loudly through all the speakers, I lost all power and then it immediately came back on. It reset my clock and all my radio station presets when it happened. I pulled over and reset the clock and everything else and then continued on my way and the truck behaved normally. I have never had any issues before and I drove the truck 400km soon after this and it worked perfectly. I'm guessing that some water got up under the hood where it shouldn't but am not sure why touching a steering wheel control would trigger it? Any thoughts?
