Steering Wheel Volume Control Fail - Maybe
Before I call the dealer, just wonder if there is something I can check. Ive lost the Volume up portion of the steering wheel volume control. Have not spilled anything on it that I know of. Volume down and all the other buttons work fine.
Anyone had one go ?

On my hour commute home yesterday I had turned the radio off and on many times hoping that would reset it.
Started truck and heading out on the freeway not thinking I just turned the radio up and lo and behold it worked.
Now what ?

I've had the same issue with my cruse control. It has happened about 4 times since I got the truck. The cruse icon on the dash will go to green but it won't engage (truck slows down when I let off the accelerator). It always resets with a cycle of the key.

Same thing happened to me. I was under warranty and the dealership put in a new switch. Seems to b good now

DO NOT SPRAY ELECTRICAL CONTACT CLEANER IN IT.

Who's got a wiring diagram? Are the keypads just resistance grids with different resistances for each button? That saves on wiring, so I'm guessing that's what is used for those controls. That would be a good test to identify or rule out one side.
