Buying Used SuperCrew Help?!?!?!?!?!?!
I found a 2001 SuperCrew w/ 53,000 miles on it. It sits on 20" rims and has dual exhaust and the dealer wants $21,000 for it. I was just wondering if i should hold out and look for another truck with less miles on it or jump on this one. People who do have this truck....do a lot of problems start comming after the 50,000 mile mark. our at what point do the problems start happening? if you could answer me these questions or give me some advice...that would be great.

I have a 2002 S'crew w/5.4L & 35,000 miles. I have not had any problems (except 1 bad coil)! The gas mileage is excellant for what it is. I have seen 2001s in my area for less w/fewer miles, but the "Used Market" is very different in different parts of the country! Good luck and I would definately stand by my S'crew

Well it has all the standard features. I live out in Las Vegas. I think the price is that high due to the 20's and exhaust. Im sure i could talk the dealer down to 19k, but that is if the miles arent to high... the whole basis of me getting this truck is that i can be assured that tons of problems dont happen after the 50k mile point. the truck doesnt come with any warranty either.
