4r100 problem 3rd
hello fellas,
i built this 4r100 trans that come out of a 99 f350 power stroke 7.3l, well when i first got the truck it sliped real bad 2nd 3rd and i rebuilt it put it back in and it shifts from 1-2 ok but it skips over 3rd or it dont stay in third long at all, rpms will go way up in 2nd then when it shifts it goes to 4th. no the scaner says the pcm is commanding the shift but the trans isnt doing it, and everything else on scanner seems fine except the engine codes,but i took valve body out check valves, replace 3rd valve with trans-go replacement, change accum body, changed shift pack, all check ***** are in it, also put a sonna .500 boost valve in the accum body, the only thing i havent done yet is pulled the tranz??? would you happen to have a idea? maybe run into this before?

I have not seen this issue before. Are there any transmission codes stored?
If the PCM is commanding the shift but the trans isn't doing it there is something inside the trans. If you are sure the valve body is right that points to a direct clutch problem. Direct is also used in reverse, does reverse work normally?

MY 4R100
THERE ARE NO CODES FOR THE TRANS, THERE WAS A MLPS BUT I REPLACE IT AND COSE IS GONE NOW.. AS FOR REVERSE IT SEEMS TO BE OK, I REALLY HAVENT DROVE IT IN REVERSE ALL I DO IN REVERSE IS CREEP OUT THE SHOP,
