Well I have never seen a PCM Computer for out era trucks that did not have the electrical capacitors in it.
The 1993 PCM Computer is a Push-Start Ignition system Computer and will not work right in a 1994 Truck that has a CCD Ignition System.
Hummmm........
I think you're on to something important here subford (Bill if I may).
In post # 14 you said "If it is not what I said above then you either have the wrong computer in the truck or a bad computer.
Mine is also a 1994 F150 automatic with transmission issues. If I start out in 2nd gear up to around 40-45 the transmission tends to shift okay. If I start out in "D", it tends to shift anywhere it wants, searching for gears. Sometimes it wants to shift down or up within a range of a couple miles per hour. I'm hoping all it is, is a change of transmission fluid,,, but from all you pro's out there, looking for any other ideas. Besides this transmission "problem" the truck runs great. Appreciate your guys thoughts.
