1986, F-250 diesel 4 speed

That's like a $1000 truck...

And they're all like that. Spokane's prices went up by 50% since i last bought a truck, like last fall.

 

That's a ridiculous asking price, especially considering how terse his ad is. No mileage provided, no photos of the interior, no claims of receipts ("great maintenance" indeed).

Just because he's asking that much doesn't mean he's going to get it. And he's not.

 

I got 6k for my CC/LB F350 a year ago. Depends on where you are and whos buying i guess

 

If that was listed for sale in michigan, I dont think that price would be too far out of line.....

 

Same if it was listed here. I don't know what you guys complain about where its salt free. Heck people ask this price for rusted out trucks here, well a 4x4 one this would seem okay.

even in Michigan that is a bit high.

he claims low miles yet does not say how many miles are on it. it's also 2wd. for the most part that is a huge deal killer.

The ad was posted on craigslist June 16 and it's still there so I guess it's safe to assume it hasn't sold. There is a difference between asking and selling prices.

 

Maybe the wife said to sell it and the guy doesnt really want to so he priced it high lol.

 

yeah id say thats a tad high, got my 91 f350 CC 4wd for 3500 and Im pretty sure I over payed.

 

ehh, not really. a member on here sold is '94 f-350 cclb 4x4 factory turbo for $4,500 last winter/fall.

Over here any $1000 truck is rusted out...

Even more unfortunately, any $3800 truck is also rusted out...

In fact, I don't even see trucks for sale over here, just rusted piles of scrap metal.

Back to the truck in question though... Do I still think that it is overpriced at $3800? Of course
