I was poking around their website and decided to read the warranty info for their engines and saw this little gem:
Voiding your warranty: The following actions will make void any and all PMM Group, LLC
warranties and will absolve PMM Group, LLC of all legal responsibility for your products:
• Modification of PMM Group, LLC parts without written prior consent of PMM Group, LLC.
• Service to parts by an unapproved facility without written prior consent of PMM Group, LLC.
• Partial or complete disassembly of any engine or related product purchased from PMM Group, LLC prior to
warranty approval.
• Use of improper fluids in any of our transmissions or hydraulic systems.
• Breakage due to improper installation or failure to follow PMM Group, LLC instructions.
• Posting of inaccurate or defamatory information about PMM Group, LLC on any public forum.
• Abuse of products or operation of products under the influence of alcohol or any controlled substance resulting
in product failure.
• The application of more engine horsepower or torque than the equipment is rated for.
NOTE: This is a list of examples and does not constitute a comprehensive list.
We should totally bring this thread to their attention. I'd be interested to see if the warranty terms change if they knew the idiocy was wide open
Just based on their responses in the last thread I'd never be inclined to purchase their products. This "Warranty" cements it. Trying to stifle customer opinions of your product is crap
I like this part also:
You have one month from the date of delivery to complete your installation and begin your warranty. Otherwise, your warranty begins one year after the original ship date.
