I guess there is a warranty card to send them when you install the part. What if you install two months after delivery? Is there no warranty until a year has passed since original shipping date? I guess they're trying to cut you a little slack if you don't install right away, but it could cause some confusion the way it's written.
That is actually worded improperly, it is supposed to state as follows: "Posting of inaccurate information about PMM Group, LLC on any public forum." That policy has nothing to do with any post made on the forum and it will be corrected by the morning and the form will reflect those changes on our website. Some people will attempt to use posting false information as leverage and this is hoping to subside this from ever happening. However, since you want to bring the coolant filter thread back to the top, we will be willing to give away two kits just to prove that the quality is what we claim it is. Shoot a PM to us if interested and we will get them sent out.
I haven't had a problem with my Perf Mach. Coolant filter kit. I got one of the early pre-buy ones. Whats supposed to be wrong with them?
To be honest nothing, there was a issue a guy who posted on this forum and caused a huge stink before he ever even gave us the opportunity to replace the product.

I'm not to concerned with the warranty right now. Its a basic setup. Sounds like the guy in the other post had a bad piece in his kit. I didn't read through all of the other thread, but I know on thing. Always let a company make it right before posting anything about it. Even If you had all these plans and your item showed up on Friday night. You cancel your Weekend Overtime at work to install your new toy, then BANG! just like that, your done. The part is bent. YOUR PISSED...
Company doesn't open until 9am on Monday.... What do you do???
WAIT and keep your fingers off the keyboard. Don't post pick to show everyone how sad your story is. **** happens!
You can do serious harm to a Mom & Pop shop with the internet mill. Give them a chance.
Sounds like they are really stepping up in this thread, giving away two free kits.
Lets give them feedback guys, turn them into a top vendor for us tinkerers.
Get this. I am a serious HOT HEAD, but getting better with age. So its funny to hear this out of me.
BTW Is this the same Perf. Mach. that does BAD AZZ Harley Wheels?
Case in point. I ordered some ArchOil products from http://www.evergreenamerica.com/inde...oss-solutions/
When I received it a little of the fuel product had leaked out. Box was bent up sitting on my porch. I sent them an email just stating my experience. Expected nothing. Not like it was a total loss. The CEO sent me an apology and asked if another 8 oz bottle of the fuel treatment would make it right? I said yes and had a tracking # that same day. The stuff works and he has a customer for life right here. Heck this story alone will probably net him more bushiness that sending me a replacement bottle.

Clearly I did not begin that thread with the intent of causing a "huge stink". I did contact them prior to posting my findings and was advised a new part would be in the mail ASAP (which I did advise in my first post). I posted about the problems I had with the coolant filter unit so that others possibly buying the product verified that their filter mated up with the filter base. Had I not caught that myself I would have been driving along spewing coolant. Kind of a big deal. Situation was taken care of and my replaced unit has been fine.
Read both threads..... well things happen, especially with a 100% human manufacturing process. PMM seemed to handle them self professionally. Heck I would take em up on the filter offer but I decided on and installed a sinister one..... sounds childish but I liked the name and look of theirs a little better. I am looking over their products though.....
The only problem I had with my Performance Machine coolant filter was the hoses were cut the wrong length (too long). I could have trimmed them to fit, but that would have defeated the crimped fittings.
As you can see the hose across the fan shroud is a couple inches too long causing it to bow up. The hose to the heater (according to the instructions) is supposed to connect at the front of the heater hose next to the alternator. It was at least a foot too long and I wound up connecting it on the other end next to the heater valve at the back of the engine.
Not too happy about having a coolant hose laying across my turbo pipe. Other than that, I like it.

Undo the line and bring it around or through the a/c pipe if you have the excess length you mention. Then it won't be near your hot pipe.
I also bought a coolant filter kit from PMM a couple of months ago. Upon receipt, I pre-assembled everything to verify form and fit and then installed it on my F-250. The install was very quick and easy. I am on my 3rd filter and it seems to be functioning very well. I also routed the line thru AC tube to keep it off of the 'hot' pipe. And I cut 1.5" off of the line connecting to the Degas bottle for a better fit. I couldn't be any happier with the setup.
Yeah, I don't think one or two bad kits is worth a bad rap.... especially if they tried to correct the screw-up. I know fit and finish on mine was good as well.
