Disable
I have to leave my S-175 Bobcat in a unsafe area for a few days.
Does anyone know any easy way to disable it?
Its a Kubota diesel with a key start.
I dont want to take off any major comonents as Im using it and just want to disable it when Im not in the area.

not familiar with bobcats, but is there any kind of fuse you can pull that would disable the ignition or fuel system?

"have to"??? Says who? Even if you disable it, it could still be picked clean or vandalized. IMO figure out a way to get it out of there.

Not sure what your definition of 'unsafe' is, but I'd hesitate to leave one anywhere where it wasn't locked away.
And unless you take something 'special' off of it, they might be able to hack it and get it started.
Or they could just swipe stuff to sell and wreck the rest. If people will steal copper pipe, they'll steal pretty much anything.
Hope that things work out,
hj
