I just flushed out my power steering, wow! Started out with brown, chocolate looking fluid. Four quarts later, almost all nice and red. I think I need two more to make sure.
Im amazed how much better the brakes work. Not near the input needed on the stop pedal to get the same results. Also, I can actually turn my wheels sitting still, never have been able to do that!
Well, I finally got around to flushing the power steering fluid out of my system. I went ahead and spent some extra money and got some Royal Purple synthetic ATF. Now that I'm done it made a hell of a difference. The steering is nowhere near as noisy and quite a bit easier to turn, even with the 37" mud tires. It may be my imagination but my brakes seem to be working much better as well. Once again, thanks for straightening my *** out guys.
