Considering buying an 03 with a 6.0 i was hoping it was a 7.3 because the truck has exactly everything im looking for in a truck but it has the 6.0 and ive heard these motors had lots of problems. What kind of problems can i expect and what mods can i do to fix them. Is it possible to fix the factory faults to get a good runner out of these motors? im budgeting about 20,000 for a truck and this one costs almost 6000 so i have 14,000 for mods and upgrades so would someone please point me in a direction

With $14k just for repairs and mods..... you could make a very reliable and long lasting 6.0L, to the tune of lasting several hundred thousand miles.
