Hey everyone, I have been reading tons of info on this forum about the 6.0 and I am well aware of all the issues but with that being said I am going to look at a 2005 F350 CC LB 6.0 truck tomorrow evening. I went to auto zone earlier and bought a scan gauge 2 to take with me. My question is, do i just plug this thing in and it will read out the coolant and oil temps or what? I have never used one before, mainly just wanting to use it to check the ECT/EOT delta. Basically I just need to know what to do once i plug it in to get where i need to be. Thanks
Ok thanks guys, appreciate the help. Im getting ready to go out and try to program it here in a few minutes on my current truck and see what happens. At the moment im driving a gm full size gas truck but im going to give it a try.
