LOL! I thought about that while I was grinding it up! But' the space under the switches is for more gauges. I think I could fit as many as 3 there. But if Clay would send me two Riffraff stickers, I'd put one on each side!.....hint, hint......LOL!!
Thats sure is coming together. I like the cockpit look with gauges and switches everywhere.
I guess that's kinda the look I was going for. I think it will look ok once it's painted and finished. This thing got started just cause I didn't want to drill holes in my dash to mount my brake controller and train horn button, then I drilled a 2 3/8" hole in it for a gauge! LOL!
The 3 in 1 gauge I got has boost, egt, and fuel psi. I'd like to get oil psi, oil temp and coolant temp. I'd also like to get a scan gauge one day too.
Do oil psi, coolant temp, and a scangauge. The SG will read oil temp
Thanks Mike! Never thought about that. I think those three will fit in there perfect. It will be a while though, I'm so broke right now, if it cost a quarter to go around the world, I couldn't get out of sight!
Bill, if you make them out stainless steel you could also capture the aftermarket needs for the DeLorean lol
I know I have a twisted sense of humor
Great job and can't wait to see the finished product
Looking great Bill! Can a guy have different things for that 3 in 1 gauge to read? Like are there more options to choose from?
Thanks Darin. Yeah you can get it in different configurations. Here's the link.........3in1 Diesel Combo Gauges

Well, I couldn't stand to wait to put gauges in it, so I went to Autozone after work and bought a cheap set of Sunpro gauges to put in it to see how it will look. The one on the far left is an old battery and hour meter from a battery powered piece of mining equipment from work. It's just there to fill the hole, that's where the Scangauge will go when I get one.
I painted it with Rustoleum textured painted called "Aged Iron". I like it pretty well.......
I'll get some pics of it in the truck tomorrow. I hope you guys don't mind me cluttering up the forum with my little projects. The only one I have to show them to other than you guys is him.......
He hangs out in the shop with me about every night. He's not much help though. I asked him to bring that extension cord to me and it took him for freakin ever! Then, I asked him how he thought I should fasten the gauge and switch panel to the console, and he said "Rivets, Rivets"........he's got a lot to learn if he's gonna hang out with me in my shop!!LOL!!
