Yeah, what I do works for the horn, but that's about it. I've never tried it, and I don't even know if it would work, but I've heard before that you can convert the AC compressor into an air compressor. But who would sacrifice AC to blow a horn though! LOL!!

You could get a york compressor and mount it to your alternator bracket. You Would have more than enough air then. I have seen many threads on that.

I'd like to do on board air and some other stuff to this ecsb truck. I'm gonna keep this one and use it for my everyday work and towing truck. My crew cab will be my cruiser.........if I ever get it finished!

It seems like there is just endless mods for these trucks, I love it!

Did this many years ago, instead of having a "button' on the dash to activate it,....
I put one under the roof liner, it wasn't a "button" type but had a lever on it to turn on whatever was hooked to it.
I then attached a chain to it and secured the other end of the chain.
All I had to do was pull on the chain to blow the horn.
Just like the big trucks...lol

That is what mine is/will be Bill. I have a york on the floor to mount. But yeah, too many projects, it will get done soon though.
