AE won't change speedometer.
I know it wrong thread but there tons members with AE.
I had early 99 or late 98 F250 superduty 2wd with 5.4L
Previous owner put bigger tires so that explain I only get 11 mpg.
AE say stock tire size is 30 and tires I had are 32". I try set to 32" I get message say This request not support by service.
How I do to get that fix?
I done many times on powerstrokes no issue but this one first time I had trouble with it.

What I did was
Try 98 F250, 98 superduty 5.4L, 99 superduty 5.4L, 99 F250.
I keep get same message say This request not support by service.
But what I notice there label on air filter housing say PCM been reflash in 2001.
I click that Arrow it .50" each clicks. I get up to 32" then click Done. I get message say This request not support by service.
If it still won't let me program tires. I maybe try swap PCM from 2000 E350 and program tires.
But I try this on 00 F350 diesel it allow me change tire size.

Oh I see, it won't let you if you try entering it as what it is a 99
Try entering it as a 2000 superduty 5.4 and see?

...or you can just remember that your speedo and mileage indications are 6% less and do the math.

Drawback: Racking up more miles on odo than reality - diminishing the value of the truck quicker.

Wouldn't that be true if his tires were smaller than stock?

Actually with bigger tires with factory speed for small tires are reading about 2-3 mph off.

Oh for crying out loud... I looked at the time I posted that and can't even use the excuse "it was before coffee". Uh.... er... it was hot! Really hot. And I... uh.... was thirsty. Thirsty, yeah.
3 MPH is 5% at 60 MPH

it's linear. 6% more than whatever speed you are seeing. 3.6 mph at 60 etc.. Note that this will only turn your 11mpg into 11.6 mpg. So all things being equal, you might have something else going on.
