Im thinking about a new truck, F150 supercrew, Lariat or King Ranch. Anyone know if a good deal can be had on a KR? Or are they going for MSRP since they are less common/a novelty? A local dealer here seemed obviously willing to deal on the many Lariats he had, but he didnt have any KR models. Should I bother looking or just go with a Lariat? A well equipped lariat and the KR both are high 30s sticker, I figure a Lariat can be had for 32-34K but I dont know about the KR. I like the KR but wouldnt spend 3-5K more just for different wheels and fancy seats...

If it were me, I would go for the K/R! It is a bit "pricey", but you won't find any better seats or leather of that quality, from the OEM market. As hard as dealers are trying to sell trucks, you can probably do well on a K/R.

I can't see any reason why you should pay any dealer a higher profit on the King Ranch versus a regular Lariat. The only truck models my dealership gets a premium for are Lightnings ($500 off sticker, when I can get them). King Ranch, Harley-Davidson, Heritage- we sell all of them at invoice. You should be able to buy one for pretty close to that. Try contacting the dealers' internet sales department- these people will often sell for less than the guys working the showrooms.
