Here is the fix. You can do it preventatively or after the fact.

well after all that work I find that I still have a oil leak and I might have made it worse
Im thinking that I did not clean enough between where the gasket is on the HPOP. all the fittings are dry and it seems to be coming from the bottom of the pump.
Does that sound right? maybe some dirt is in between the seal.
