Homemade Traction Bars

Has anybody done this? I have a '05 6.0, (Studded, egr delete, SCT) and was wondering if it would be cheaper and maybe better to make my own? What do you guys think

Done it a few times. If you have access to a welder it's pretty straightforward. Think about short shackles at the front instead of an eye so that they don't bind up the rear suspension. Otherwise just look at what others are running and remember longer is better.

OKay, is there any threads or pictures you have or can send of the front hook-up of the traction bars? Cause i have a idea of what to do for the axel hookup, just not the from. Thanks!
