Code questions
It starts like this. My 2003 F350 , 7.3 shows an intermittent check engine light. The local dealer ship wants 189.00 to run diagnostics. The local parts store did it for free. The warning light was not on at that time and it threw no codes. The question is, If I turn the key to the on position three times will it go to self diagnostic mode and show codes in the lcd odometer readout? The last question . I would like to find the chart that describes the code and fix.

Thank you Sir, I'll save the link. There was a drop in mileage when summer blend came in but other than that and a slight front end shimmy, she is fine. Had the injector cups replaced last spring, starter , and batteries. I consider that maintenance.
