Do you think the money was worth the payout in horse power. I have an 03 f-250 with the 5.4 and it doesn't do too bad with 35s and a 3.73 rear end; but is no power house. But I would like that extra grunt of horsepower.
Yes, if you keep it around $2000- $2500, it is definite worth it. The low end torque is a great plus with the Superduty or any vehicle with towing.
I used to have a procharger but had to wait until about 3300 rpm for full in power where this begins almost immediately.
x2 if you were to add some type of supercharger to your engine i would only do so after a overhaul. your 13 yr old engine may last for awhile but all it takes is for one bearing or a bad seal or a oil pump that is on its last leg to make your engine fail.
