Well I'm still at it. Pulled a vacuum on all the lines (I THINK) that goes to the hubs.
I then removed the line at the switch, and pumped 15" into the line.
It held just fine. I pulled 10" at each hub port, no leaks.
I now believe it might be the vacuum switch, because when I turn the hubs on ,the vacuum dumps immediately somewhere.
That was the very first part that failed after I aquired "Stinky". I had to get mine at the dealership, but you might find one online. I called it the ESOF module, but the wiring diagram calls it a "Vacuum Hublock Solenoid".
Thanks Tugly: I just can't think now that it is anything else. Maybe if I hook my hand pump up to the switch, and turn it on, it might show up for sure.
I might get my wife to assist and try that. Thanks Jim
Thanks Tugly: I think I have about solved it. I still have a slow leak in the right hub.
I have replaced the outside seal, but have not changed the yellow seal yet. I replaced everything about 18 mo's ago, when I did the ball joints.
Oh well, if it wasn't for these little problems I might be bored. Thanks Jim
