I used one of those nylon wheels attached to a drill. Did a great job. 3M black weatherstripping adhesive, don't know why anyone would use yellow unless they had a yellow or white truck. Do it on a hot day, that will help the seal compress more and allow the door to close properly sooner after installation.
The repro weatherstrips are duplicates of what was sold at the parts counter, NOT what was installed at the factory.
Factory installed weatherstrips were flat, so the doors would close properly. Service part replacement weatherstrips and now the repro's are fatter.
The service part replacement weatherstips came with an instruction sheet.
"After gluing the weatherstrip on, use tape to retain it in place, especially at the corners. Close the door till it just touches the striker plate (remove dome lamp bulb).
It may be necessary to tape the door in this position."
