thanks curt! i printed the pics of the wiring, and am on my way out to the truck, to do a visual,and its FREE!!! yay!after all this money, a roll of tape,and some harness tubing,might just do the trick,wow!

no high test!lol! straight black mud.i just took a peak at the wiring,and connections,what a jumbled mess!i also see alot of nuts missing off of brackets,since the ford dealership put the delete kit on,geez thanks!for 8,000 bucks, you would think they could remember to put the nuts and bolts back on.so that probable means if there is a chaffing going on, they never checked it.who knows, maybe i jiggled the right wire while i was crammed in the engine compartment this afternoon, i looked at as much of it as i could see, how about the cam sensor,what symptom would i have with that? anybody have a idea?my ex, suggested that one over the phone today.

After taking the intake apart, ford wrapped those wires real good. I found a number of places where there was pressure on a stud or bolt. I wrapped those area's with friction tape. Used a mirror to see the back side of these splices. None looked like they had rubbed through, but taped them up anyway. Reinsalled the ficm that ed rebuilt with the atlas 40 tune, with no heat/fiber tape on the ficm at all.

cant wait to see your post after you drive it awhile!did ed program the ficm for you,so it was ready to go? did your engine throw codes? mine does not,that's why no one knows where to look!let me know. good luck,and smooth sailing curt!
