ok this is the worst newb question ever
but i bought new replacement shox and cant seem to figure out how to get my rachet in there to get the top nut off
the top stud is long, and with the inner wheel well, i dont have enough room to get a socket on there
i could use old school wrench but that would take a month of sundays
should i cut the inner well to gain appropriate access?
i dont have power tools and dont see access from hood comp either..
Use the wrench. Same thing had to be done on my passenger side due to the a/c compressor in the way. It takes longer but not more than 3, maybe 4 minutes.
I got the passenger side ok w/ a socket and extension and holding my mouth just right but the drivers side needed a couple swivels and extensions to get maneuvered in there. I don't think there's room for anything but a stubby wrench on either one.
