Leaf spring bolt sizes
Hey all
Anyone happen to know what size bolts were used on their truck (78/79 F250 4x4) when they did the bolts? I have the following measurements:
Front hangar to eye bolt:
Shank: 5" Head: 15/16" Shank dia.: 5/8"
Front rear shackle to eye and front rear shackle to frame:
Shank: 5" Head: 13/16" Shank dia.: 9/16" <-???
Rear front eye to hangar:
Shank: 5" Head: 15/16" Shank dia.: 5/8"
Rear rear shackle to eye and rear shackle to hangar:
Shank: 5" Head: 7/8" Shank dia.: 9/16" <- ????
Do these sound right to everyone? I have a hard trime trying to find the 16th increments that big. Might have to go to fastenal
