I think I'm going to have to build up the pad where the shop is about 4" or 5" to get the slope I need to tie the sewer into my septic tank.
We used gravel for that in our shop at work. Just leveled a gravel pile about 12" deep, but left a 12" or so space around it. That way when the slab was poured we had 6" of concrete with an 18" footer. Tied the steel all the way out to the framework to support the footer too.
I got in trouble with "Mr Moderator" a couple of days ago for talking about 6.0L injectors outside of the 6.0L forum. I've been in "time out" once before on FTE for not following the rules...didn't want to go back to FTE Siberia. Though in this heat, a trip to Siberia wouldn't be a bad idea.

Oh no.... not pinning that on me bucko. I'm the one keeping you out of trouble.
I didn't tell you? I'm in management training at work. It's a multi-week program to teach me everything I need to know to be a good manger. The first three days were basically understanding how to blame someone else for your own screw-ups. I like to call it "water off a duck's back" plan.
blah..... not sure what to say. Ive been lazy as hell lately yet been busy. Had to repo my '90 F150 last weekend since the ol boy hasnt paid or called me about paying in 2 months.

Are you sure you're not in the Air Force? I know a lot of guys that have been through that program, and a few that evidently teach it.

Nope, my mother (father as well) wore combat boots...Army Brat. Though my sister is married to a Captain in the Chair Force.
I've decided the next upgrade for the Pavement Princess is going to be a 4" turbo back exhaust. Got a little warm on the way to Tulsa last night with the 5th wheel a couple of times (1200-1400F). I thought the EGT would have dropped a couple of hundred degrees since I "improved" my EGR cooler...but the exhaust is warmer now than before. Time to spend some more time in Scott's favorite forum reading...the 6.0L (aka Super-PSD) forum
Could cut it off at the tell end of the transmission. I like it but cant talk on the phone while driving not talk to people through the drive through microphone.
Think 5" The 4" is plenty for flow but the big cannon sounds better. Especially when you decide it no longer needs a muffler.
Uh, pretty sure there's going to be a sound reduction device under the truck for quite some time. Even the Ranchero with it's dual exhaust Cleveland has mufflers. It's cool for the first 5-10 miles, then it just get old really quick. The 7.3L do sound good straight piped; the 6.0L do not. My biggest concern is sending molten aluminum thru the exhaust while pulling the trailer & passing the Dodge boys at the same time. Thus it's time to start working on a 4" turbo back exhaust and maybe a custom towing tune. Also need to figure out if I've got an exhaust leaking on the up-pipe/y-pipe. Before I did all the work, I could build 30 psi of boost with the trailer (not good for the motor, but boost = power); now I'm doing good to get 22-23 psi. Which could also have something to do with the higher than desired EGT.
Zack, I liked your Internaional pic. I've actually owned a couple in a past life.
Here's a strange one I spotted over in Witt's Springs while the wife an I were out riding.

That wouldn't be a good idea. With the exhaust well over a thousand degrees when it comes out the end of the tailpipe....plastic things won't last long. Included the wiring harness for the tail lights. And before anyone suggests it....NO STACKS. Don't need every F-ing Dodge & Chebby challenging me at every traffic light. I've got better things to do than whipping their butts everyday.

That's...um, well...unique to say the least. I bet parallel parking is a cinch. Every so often I see an International or (even more rare) Studebaker truck running down the road. The Scouts seem to be more numerous than the trucks.
