My apologies on slacking to get this up, but between 50+ hours a week and 2 trucks that need to be ready for different events, there's not much free time lol.

Half the year is in the books, and half to go. This month is shaping up to be busy. If you're interested, the Bloomsburg Jamboree goes off next weekend at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds, and you can stop by there to check out all sorts of 4x4 action along with monster trucks, mud racing, and more.

Also, on July 30 it's the event of my year - Rally in the Valley in Frederick, MD. It's a concert and car/truck/motorcycle show to benefit the Platoon 22 organization. Hi Bill. Thanks for setting up the chat. I've been away a few days because we are swamped at work. My wife flew to Florida this morning so maybe, just maybe, i can find out why my temperature gauge isn't working this weekend. She did give me a list of chores before she got out of the car this morning, though. She's always thinking of me...

 

Morning Steve. Know the pain of being swamped at work, been really under the gun this past week or so between getting ready to be off for a couple days and overall schedule - really getting it handed to me. Kinda frustrated, to be so honest.

How long is the Mrs. gone? That might judge how long you have to work on the list and get truck stuff in lol..

 

i pick her up sunday night. i really just get the one day (tomorrow) because i have my dad on sunday. i'll get something done.

oh man, i feel your pain. i went to bed at 12:30 and woke up at 2:30. i think i got back to sleep at 5:00, but the alarm went off at 5:30. i'm also fried.

And making matters somewhat worse is there's no "sleep in" time tomorrow - gotta head a town over early to get the windows on the crew cab tinted. Gotta be there at 9, it's an hour drive so leave at 8, which means getting up and getting ready no later than about 7:15 or so. Then again, anything's sleeping in when you get up at 3AM lol.

Just burning the rest of the day up. 2 hrs to go.

I got started on the lower half of the front playhouse and I also purchased the rails for the playhouse. Hope to get it all installed this weekend. But I got yard work to do and the flower beds are looking poorly with the weeds and grass growing in them!

 

Not sure what a barista is, but if she wears a short skirt I'm sure I'll like her

 

Is it July already? Dang! Where's the year going? Seems like just last week we were talking about March or April, now the summer feels like it's half gone already!
I was draggin' all day at work, too. At least they let us go early, though. I was able to leave for the day at 2:30 Looks like it's going to be a nice rain-free night so I'm gonna head north to a local car show here in a bit.
