It's gonna be 100* or more today according to the news, so have plenty of water available to drink, wear your sunglasses/sunscreen, & do your best to stay cool! You could drape a cold/wet hand towel around your neck to help keep you cool or even wet your shirt/clothes down! (WOOHOO! - wet t-shirt contest)
I normally put a couple of washclothees in a ziplock bag with ice & enough water to cover the washclothes & bring it with me when I have to go somewhere.
I normally enjoy the heat, but without a slight breeze...it makes it hard to stay cool, muchless breath! If I didn't have to go to Fallon to look at a boat today, I'd stay inside with the A/C on!
Good Monday to all the FTE'rs and watchers !!!
Donna... 100* is that all, check this out from N.W.S. here in the Vegas area http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/FXC/make_img...ize=1&force=no
Couldn't get the picture to cut and paste but I did get the link (maxed out my computer smarts) ... any work here will be done between dawn and 9:30 AM only... There is no glory in heatstroke stay cool play safe !!!
Thanks for the photo help Jeff... my computer, BOB, ( Box On Bench ) is much smarted than me... so every now and then it makes me look bad... that's OK, I know where the plug is (evil laugh) HA HA HA HA !!!
Another hot one. so be prepared!
My trip out to Fallon yesterday sucked. Went all that way, for nothin'!
I was hoping that the boat & trailer was in better condition than it was. It even looked bigger in the pictures. Oh well, I'll keep looking! Something is bound to come along.
Happy Tuesday Nevada FTE! The key word for today is hydration! Drink plenty of water or juices, as it is going to be a hot one out there. I plan on staying indoors as much as possible. (Thank God the Bronco's AC works!)
Well today is my last full day in SoCal before heading home tomorrow and getting the camper for our 3 week RV trek!...REALLY looking forward to it for sure!
