Looking for and engine....
I am needing a replacement engine for my truck.
Injector tip broke and washed the cylinder and/or put a whole in the piston, has significant blowby.
So need an engine replacement, dont care on mileage as long as it runs good.
7.3L engine, '99-'03
Nothing that needs work unless its something I can just take parts off my old engine and put on it.
up to $1500 to spend.
Need it to be within 5 hours drive time of Poteau,OK
Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, or Louisiana are states that will be within my drive time lol.
I checked the local salvage yards.....they are asking crazy prices for engines that they dont even know how many miles they have on them lol

I hate to hear that Sean, It's been over a year since I purchased a few motors from a guy that had bought 23 kansas city shuttle buses. I will have to see if I can find his info, I bought 2 of them from him at $700 each. I will keep an eye out for you too.

2- 7.3 diesel ford motors
1997 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke, plus auto transmission
my understanding is you can put your parts on the 97 engine, block is basically the same. there are some things you will need to work out though.

Looks like I am headin to Dallas, TX.
Found a 7.3L Powestroke with 135,000 miles out of a 2002 for $1,000 with the rebuilt turbo.
Wish me luck, no way to test out the engine before I hand over my hard earned money!
If you have any tidbits that would be helpful for me to check on the engine before I bring it home feel free to call or txt, numbers in my initial post.
