hey guys im doing a diff service and dont know if i have trac lock or not?? how can you tell by looking at it. I do have the additive so if i do end up with having trac lock then im set

Do you mean Limited Slip? You will know by looking at the differential tags.
For example:
3L73
3 - 3.xx
L - LIMITED SLIP
73 - .73
So an axle with that tag would be a 3.73 ratio gear set with limited slip, which is the most common configuration.

Another way you can tell is to jack up one rear wheel, put the truck in neutral and try to rotate the wheel that's off the ground. If you can turn it you do not have traction lock. If you cannot turn it you do have traction lock.
