so did they take off the TB charge then????........lol
Well long story short, they split the cost with me and wrote off some labor. I called a meeting with them and it lasted almost an hour, I was getting pretty fired up and almost blew my chance of any discount. Still working great so it was the PCM for sure.
Yeah there were being so unethical. They were saying well the TB may have caused the PCM to go out, I argued, hey I brought you a vehicle that didn't work and trusted to you fix it and you replaced the TB and it still didn't work, in faxt the same exact issues so why should I pay for both. They said they are not magicians but would be willing to put the old TB back in. I said no way it all in there now. LOL I was so pissed and told them to get the service manager and tech that worked on it in the room and lit them up.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Glad to hear it's been resolved, somewhat satisfactorily.
That is a good example of why you should always keep the parts they replace. If you had the original t/b in hand you could have said to put it back on the truck. If it ran good you could have saved some money. If the t/b proved bad upon reinstallation you could then have them reinstall the new one and be rigbht where you are now.
