I have an 05 f250 with the 5.4, I believe that I have an internal leak but I'm not sure what the component is called... It's the block that on the top has the 2 lines from the master cylinder and on the bottom is goes to each wheel, and there's a plug on the side... I think my problem is that block cause I've replaced just about everything else that would cause an issue.. So what's that block called and for what year superduty's could I pull from a junk yard on../. Thanks fella's. It's under and just on the out side of the master cylinder above the front driver wheel well../. Thanks
Sounds like what you are describing is the ABS controller.
What has been the history of the truck to get you to this conclusion other then replacing everything?
The controllers are not cheap items and they rarely go bad. A dealerships WDS or IDS can check them, but there is another check in the service manual for units that have an internal fault that leads to a dropping pedal without fluid loss.
