All in all it is in great condition for a 50 year old truck, need things like the floor mat and shifter boots, carburetor rebuild kit, cross over exhaust tube, probably some seals after it gets used again. Oh, and the wood kit for the bed eventually. If you can give me a few places to start the search for parts it will be a great help.
Thank you NumberDummy.
One more question, how many of the F26 model were built?
1962: FoMoCo lumped 2WD & 4WD production figures together. So, there's no way to find out, since the records were THROWN AWAY decades ago.

I am in Afton, it is about one hour south of Jackson Hole. You might recognize the elk horn arch over the highway if you've been through here. Thank you for the contact info on the NOS dealers. My truck was a fire dept. rig, so it is low miles and doesn't need a lot, it still has the original tires, only 16,490 miles. Thank You again.

The sources I listed sell reproduction parts. NOS parts can be found, Green Sales Co. in Cincinnati OH (800-543-4959) has the largest stock, but there are many other sources as well.
Most every FoMoCo Dealer in the US, other obsolete parts vendors have these parts. But, there are no catalogs, the Ford part number(s), several parts locator sites are required.
All you need to do is ask for specific parts...I'll take it from there, because this is what I mainly do on FTE. Look up, search for obsolete parts, type the sources/phone numbers if found.
The 1957/63 Ford Truck Parts Catalog is available on a CD from hipoparts.com.

Afton, I believe was founded by Mormons during one of Brigham Young's expeditions, as was Las Vegas.
