how to replace rocker panels
i have a 92 ford f-150 truck
has a rocker panel rusted away floor pan
is there any pictures on how to do that on a 92 ford truck
or web sites that i can see picture

it aint easy. Is it the inner rocker or the whole deal? I had to redo the inner stuff on both driver and passenger sides on my truck. Go look in LMC and Jeff's bronco graveyard for sheet metal parts, the pricing is about the same and the parts come from the same place, or if you can figure out the order form, go to TABCO INC. make sure you got enough replacement metal to go back in, cut out the rust, and only about an inch more. there are several ways to do the replacement stuff: A. overlap/weld/grind/cut off excess B. come in from the back side overlapping the other way/weld/grind/cut off excess C. Cut exact fit piece(very hard to do unless you got a cut off wheel). Use a reciprocating saw for the thick stuff and use a cut off wheel for the thin stuff and to get accurate angles/lines/etc.

its just the driver side i allready have the rocker panel
and the other part from mill supply
from the front under emergency brack its bad where the rocker is from the front i drilled out all the spot welds do i have take the fender off to see behined
there or what this a project for me i can not aford to have someone ells
to do it is there pictures of my 92 ford f-150 cab spects

could you post a pic of it on here or do you have a picture on your profile? I'd really have to see it to answer. The trucks may have changed in accessibility from the years of ours. mine is a '77. I had to take the cab off to do the cab mounts and floor pans, with some rocker repair. You said it is rusted under the parking brake stuff, how far back towards the seat does it go? If you could post a photo of it or a link to a facebook photo of it or something, I can tell you a lil more.

It mostly takes time to do this stuff, time+patience+effort+just a tad(depending on pricing) money=good truck that has received TLC. I'm 17, I am doing the floor pan/cab mount/ frame paint/ etc all that not so good stuff by myself. It is time consuming if you don't have about 4 friends helping all at once.

there are two ways I have used: 1. upload photos to your gallery under your user control panel. 2. Do you have a facebook profile? if you do, upload a photo. Go to the page with the photo on it, copy the link of the page and post the link.
I am not sure on how to load photos directly to the thread page. I think you either have to have a Ford truck membership or a photo bucket account.

What all did you order from LMC? All you really need is a tiny piece of 22 gauge sheet metal. If my truck's floor looked that good, I'd be *****ting in high cotton.
