Okay, I bought the chip, plugged it in and it works fine. Couple of questions though: 1) when I start it up it "lopes" while idling until I rev it, then it levels out. Anyone have an idea why? 2) anyone have any ideas in a good place/way to mount the switch? Right now it's just layin on the dash...

Yep the chip was burned for a auto. The only way to stop that is to get it burned for a zf5

Id' rather have crisp hard shifts than smooth sissy shifts.

Well, for just tooling around and not hauling or getting on it, smooth shifts are okay.
but if your on the gas and it shifts smooth, its just burning the clutches up.
