I just got my chip and installed it yesterday worked in 4 positions so I went out to leave today and no start I took it out and cleaned it again put it back in and no start in any positions I'm lost?
Yes runs without I cleaned contacts I don't think I over cleaned them I was very careful not to, I scrapped silicone of with toothpick and fingernails then used scotch bright pad
If it runs without the chip, it is an issue with your chip... It worked yesterday but not today? Does it have a no start position? Make sure the connection for the **** is all good?
James gave you good advise. I'm not familar with the TS chip but if it has a no start that could be the problem. Call the tuner is the best thing. I did this on my DP tuner on vacation, set the no start and then couldn't get it started two days later. Called JW where it was installed, he laughed and said I told you, I got it started in two seconds.
Let us know what happens.

There php tunes. Yes I tried starting and it wasn't in my no start spot it was I 140 extreme tried everyone but no start ad didn't start I had a bad luck with getting it took almost a moth I wet through a diesel site and he said my connection wasn't good so I took it back out and made sure all silicone was gone used finger nail polish tooth pick and all and its dead in the water if I hadn't paid 300 for it I wouldve smashed it by now because I'm beginning to think it's messed up or my PCM connection is screwed now
I just got one for 229.00 from Advanced diesel, Ive been installing chips since the early 90's then they came out. I use a razor to clean the contact sealer off then a little brake kleen on a rag and wipe the connector surface down (top and bottom) then I use a piece of scotch brite, then more brake kleen, then I insert the chip 10-20 times and look at the contacts to make sure I can see the scratches from the chip connector is making a good connection.
Then I duct tape the chip in nice and tight, then pull the cable against the duct tape and add another against the cable to hold it in tight.
Side note, my 140 tune shuts the truck off and will not run. all the other tunes work great! It dont bother me that the 140 tune did not work as Im sure my truck is not ready for it anyways because it for the most part bone stock.. I guess its a safety :0)
The TS is just a temporary solution for me untill spring when Ill order a Dp tuner, but Ive dumped about 4k into the truck this month getting it ready for the road and just needed something quick and cheap.

If your truck starts without the chip, then your PCM is fine... Sounds to me like an issue with the chip or possibly the wiring to the selector ****.
When you removed the chip where the keys in or out of the ignition? If the keys were in the ignition while you removed or wiggled the chip it may be fried.Keys in the ignition power the PCM....Do not mess with a chip with the keys in the ignition.
When I first bought my TW chip it was bad.It would start sometimes and then not. Finally came down to a box of bad chips that were sold to several folks. Finally got a good one and it starts everytime.
