95 midship tank
hey guy's newbi here. I have a 95 f250 4x4 and the front tank doesn't work it registers empty but i hear what sounds like the pump. not sure if it the sender or the whole assembly? any insite would greatly help

There are no connections to look at.
There may be a wire shorted to ground if it reads passed empty (pegged).
If it just read empty then the wiring is OK and the the float is all the way down in the tank.
More than likely the float has a hole in it if it just reads empty and not pegged.

You are right the gauge just reads just empty not pegged. Now the next question is is it as easy to drop the tank on a ford as it is on a chevy truck? I appericate all the help

I do not know. I have never dropped a tank on a chevy truck. The last chevy I have worked on was in the year 1974. It had the fuel tank behind the seat, it was a 1962 PU.
But you have a choice, you can pull the bed with about three other friends or if the tank is near empty you lower it from under the truck. I like to take the bed off.
