my ol girl runs rough at idle now. she has a miss and puffs smoke. i have 4 codes
p0603 Internal Control Module KAM Error
p1211 ICP Not Ctrllable - Pressure Above/Desired
p0541 Manf Intake Air Heater Circuit Low
p1105 Dual Alternator Upper Fault (Monitor)
im not concerned with the 0541. the 1105 im not sure. i have checked the upper alternator with my meter with the alt unhooked the battery showed 12.9(i think) and hooked up it was 14.1. i have not checked the lower alt yet.
what does the 0603 mean???
1211 mean i need a icp??
You're using the Edge to read the codes? Is it one of the Edge products that wires into the ICP somewhere? Does the engine smooth out if you unplug the ICP sensor while it's at idle?
ok i fired her up and we had a cloud of smoke. i unlugged the icp. the idle jumped up for a second then went back down. it didnt run any different and the cel came on. i plugged it back up and the idle dropped for a second and picked rite back up and the cel went out
after driving some more i hae noticed that it doesnt miss all the time. sometimes when we stop shes missing and smoking other times shes smooth. after filling back up i checked my mileage. 15.2mpg. not terrible considering i have layed some and i pulled a 18ft car trailer about 45 miles to pick up a car and 45 back with my bike in the back of the truck too.
