Where is this sensor located? anyone got a picture? do they go bad? I was just wondering because ive noticed sometimes on a hot restart I get glowplugs coming on? not a big deal i guess. more of a curiosity. would it throw a code? iguess if I had AE i could figure it out. but my laptop runs ubuntu linux. they should make it operating system independent. like have its own OS on the cd which could be bootable?

 

It's under the dash by the stearing column it looks like a relay plugged into some wires

Just ordered a new Low pressure oil sender. F6TZ-9278-AA. mines leaking and making a dirty mess of the HPOP res. I will let ya know on the BARO. i have the front diff leaking around a couple bolt heads to worry about. i had to drive over a curb to avoid killing an idiot who started to turn left in front of me then changed her stupid mind and stopped right in front of me. since then the front diffs been wet with gear oil.

Mine doesn't come on when up to temp.

 

What is the cutoff temp ?

 

Mine don't come on either when up to temp. I think I read when the motor is up to 160? Can't remember for sure the temp.

 

I am having similar issues. I just tested the eot. motor cold (around 50 deg F) ohms 77.8, volts 4.76. It does not really match up to the chart so not sure what to make of the sensor. Any thoughts?
