Blowby question

If i remove my air filter housing i get smoke out oil tube. If i put housing back on then no smoke. Is that normal????

Took me a second staring at the picture to realize I was looking at a van. Then it took several more seconds to realize I could click on it a couple of times and follow it to the video.

There's nothing in that video to worry about. If you have a blowby issue, it will show itself as pressure out the oil fill cap without even touching the air filter. Smoke isn't what you should worry about, just pressure. Flip the oil cap upside down and lay it on the fill tube. Bad blowby will send the cap airborne. When it just vibrates around and slides off, you've got nothing to worry about.

I thought that too but then realized if the oil fill tube is not level like it is on an F series the oil cap upside down would slide off before being blown off.

You could help balance the cap with one finger without affecting what blowby pressure would do to it.
