Howdy ya'll! Yep I'm a newbie and I'm proud of it! Let me first say that I don't own a Ford truck, I own a Jeep Wagoneer. "So what the heck you doin' here?" you ask? Let me explain by telling you my life story, so grab a cold one before you start readin this. My whole childhood my pops had a 68 Wagonner he always said he'd give me when I got old enough. He sold it and got a Ford instead . So like most of you (even though I know I'll never get any of you to admit it) I turned into a huge bowtie fan in my high school years, and like all of you that won't admit you where the same way, I grew out of it pretty quick. Unfortunately I still had a bad taste in my mouth from my beloved dream Jeep being replaced by I Ford, so I turned to the pentastar instead. I raced three different Mopars up in Washington State, and always kicked the snot out of all my friends rigs when we where just playin in the woods, but always (I do mean always) broke down in the races(mostly tough truck class 8 NHRA Monster Truck series, the ones you see running over railroad ties during the intermission of the Monster truck show. After killing a 78 PowerWagon, a 74 Ramcharger, and an 85 Ram, I gave up on the bighorn sheep and went ahead and got what I've always wanted. A Wagoneer. Now even though it has the same chassis and body as my dads old Wag, everything else is poop. Central disconnect front D44, AMC20 Rear, NP229 T-case, TF727 that isn't the same tranny you find in Mopars, just has the same name, and the most doggity 360 gas guzzling, no power making, smokin like an Iraqi oil well AMC engine ever made. Most of my buddies on the Jeep page told me to get a D60 and 14bolt when I destroyed my axles. Being the cool guy that I am, I decided to go Ford instead. NOW DON'T GO THINKING I'M A FORD KILLING SCAVENGER! I got my Ford d44 out of a Bronco that got a rockwell instead, and I built my 9" from parts off of ebay from racers that are constantly searching for the perfect set up. Ultimately, as I think back to learning how to drive in that 87 Ford F-150 my dad bought, I liked everything about it, except that it replaced "MY" Jeep. So now I'm on a quest to turn my Jeep into a cleaner, more efficient, better sounding Ford with a Jeep body and chassis by saving Ford parts from being melted down in the minimills. Aside from that, I don't like ricers either! Anyways, if ya'll feel like I don't belong, go ahead and flame me and I'll join under a different name and lie like a dog to get the info I need!
