Local dealer just offered me $42k for my 2010 with 42,000 miles on trade for a 2012 @ $52k. I'm honestly 50/50. It seems like as the 6.7's get more miles on them, we're discovering they aren't quite what their cracked up to be.
Crazy how there can only be $10,000 difference in two YM spread and 42,000 miles. I guess the interest rate on a used 2010 will more than make up for it when they sell it.

What are u getting fo mileage with the tuner? I get >16 around town and 20 on the hiway. My 08 got 12-13.
Yet there are few problems over all. The squeaky wheel gets all the attention. I've not had a single complaint with my 2012...2011 was not that bad either.
It just depends on what you need or want. Not really an issue of trying to compare the two motors.
I need 55,000 miles/year towing work trailer all over the country. Better economy, warranty, and great driving truck is for me. No tuning/lifting/custom stuff. It's a really nice truck to drive every day. The 6.4 I had, got 150,000 miles out of it, never could get it to last more than 40,000 miles without a coolant problem. So I had to move on. 6.7 is being perfect for me so far.
If you only tow occasionally, don't travel great distances and run a lot of miles and like to tune and mod the suspension, then I don't know. Pretty much just whatever makes you happy.
What I need out of a truck, I wouldn't take a free 6.4 at this point. Probably would take a 6.0 that has been updated though.
I had tuned every one of my previous diesels and I so like this one as is that, while I looked, have not gone for tuning - happy with the power and torque stock !
hook up the 5er and @ 23k total it just sounds stronger !
