Can anyone tell me if the c6 used in highboys is the same as the 2wd's?

I believe it's overall length (a couple inches IIRC)...to make one work in the other you have to tear both trannies down completely to get the correct shaft and swap.

tailshaft on 2wd is lacking mounting boss for transfer case sifter mount and from what I was told 4wd trans has a bearing and bolt on rear output flange in lieu of 2wd trans w/ bushing and slip in yoke...other than that they are similar...ask me how I know..
