modified steering column, use w/crossover 4x4 setup
so i spliced a saginaw steering box and mount in my F-3 frame awhile ago and have been avoiding working on the column/shafts, i knew it was gonna be pretty frankenstein.
i actually got shafts/joints from 3 different vehicles not including the factory steering wheel and first 8" of column.
fyi, I'm using the hanging brake/clutch pedals from a 78 F150.
The more I think about it, the more I want to put my original column in like you have. I probably will but I got other fish to fry right now.
I don't like the plastic stuff around my column.
Did you fab up that underdash bracketry? from scratch? or is that from some other vehicle? looks beefy!

The used the hanging pedals bracket that mounted the brake power booster to firewall from a 78 F-150 and parts from a tilt column out of a Hyundai or something, fabbed them together with a couple home made brackets and gussets from 1/4" steel. (it helped firm up firewall alot were brake booster is mounted, it flexed alittle too much)
some before paint pictures; i either weld then sleeve and reweld or make a stub and slider type setup, weld and then drill a hole and "plug weld" can kind of see in pics....... I know some folks don't like welding on steering stuff.
