damn electrical storms!!

i heard the thunder, and saw the lightning coming from around 25 miles away.
so inside i go, and unplug everything electronic.

or so i thought.

5 minutes or so later, BOOM!! FLASH!!!!

SMOKE!!!!!

i forgot to unplug the computer monitor!

the good news is i now have a new, purtty 22 inch HD LCD monitor.

I think you can use it as a tv also, through the hdmi port

actually, it is a TV with a PC port on the back.

a pc monitor was $275, while the TV was only $170

Sounds too familiar. Woke up one night to an extremely loud crack only to find out it hit my house.

Two TVs
Computer
Three phones
Furnace
wiring and switches

Gotta love older wiring with no grounds!
