So in all the TV adds for windows 7 they show that you can watch videos on your tv from your laptop. I know i can do this with a VGA cable but wireless would be great. I cant find it anywhere on the net, any help would be great!

Remember, some new LCD's and LED tv's have wireless built into them along with pre loaded app's. TV commercials are showing a laptop connection wireless to a compatible tv. Other than that you have to go with what jroehl stated.
