Another "coffee can" question
I looked through all of the old topics that came up in a search for vacuum resevoirs, but couldn't find an answer to my question.
The can on my truck, '88 with a 5.0, has three male inlets but only two hoses attached. What should be attached to the third? I cannot find any unattached lines anywhere under the hood, and I wouldn't think there should be any open inlets on a vacuum system.
The truck runs fine, no skipping or missing, aside from the hard to start when hot poltergeist. The blender door is working, no brake problems, don't use the cruise control. The routing diagram under the hood is no longer legible, and someone "borrowed" my Chilton's manual long ago so I am at a loss.
Any ideas?
