Climate Control Vacuum Lines

Hi,
97 F350 CC 4x4 7.5L
A rodent chewed a couple of holes in a vacuum line from my climate control to the outside air motor where the line is exposed in the engine compartment.
I have looked around, and no one seems to have anything to repair it with, all too big, no fittings.
The line is a soft line, not one of the hard vacuum lines.
I was at NAPA yesterday looking for it, and in the parking lot with the hood open was an 89 Bronco. It had the exact same line in it to the outside air motor, a white vinyl looking line (with no rodent teeth marks!) so there must be alot of them out there, but I can't find a place to get it.
Anyone have experience and a trick to splice in a larger hose or something? or know where to buy new?

Most just bridge the gap with a rubber vacuum line and use small zip ties on each end.

I used vacuum hose to bridge gap. No zip ties needed as hose went on tight

If there is one broken section in that white vinyl tubing then it is a matter of time before it breaks somewhere else. I like this thread from another forum: A/C and/or heater stuck on defrost - FSB Forums

It shows how to replace the entire length.

I use high quality silicone lines like you might see in an import. Stay away from vinyl.

I'd be surprised if rodents ate them. These lines just rot away on their own.

Sorry, I picked up mine from my stereo guy, and those were his last set a while back. I'd suggest if Summit does not have them to just Google silicone vacumme hose, and see if you can just buy a length of the piece you need, because a whole set is kind of pricy.

I have replaced all my lines and got them from siliconeintakes.com. I have not had a problem with their parts.

Auto zone sells the vinyl hoses in 3 foot sections. If your gonna fix it run a while new line. If you drop the glove box door you can see where it comes in and attaches to the controls.

I would not suggest using vinyl hoses for the vac lines. They can soften in the heat and get sucked in. I had, and then replaced the vinyl...
