I tore that piece off as soon as I left California. it sits next to all the trash they put on the trucks as well as my old California license plates. I replaced the cat with a resonator and only had a increase in power and a mellower growl at idle. I would NOT recommend doing this mod in California so put on a flowmaster and a 4 inch tip and call it good if you want noise

I think the guy who compared his cat-free V10 to a Harley nailed it. I absolutely HATE straight-piped Harleys and the idiots that ride them. I think riding a loud-*** bike with 60 hp at best is the pinnacle of ignorance. Hey, you may THINK it's fast, but it's not even close. Same with a V10 truck with no cat. Just because you THINK you're cool doesn't make it so. It just gives the neighbors and cops more reason to crucify you for being dumb. Be smart, be stealthy and everyone will be happier.

Ok so I have gone through this no cat and a super40 flowmaster is ok but the best sound is a cat with a muffler delete straight pipe held on by band clamps for easy removal to put the muffler back on for smogging, I have video of this sound, I was climbing a dune in el mirage at wot check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZO9PcGfqL8Q

How about mine with a Super44 and a CAT delete, going down a big hill in 4LO in second gear. I think it sounds pretty awesome.
